How do I invest in a Smartfolio?

Once you've deposited or transferred money into your iFlip account, you're ready to invest in a Smartfolio.

1. Tap Invest (on the web app, top bar) or Invest Funds (on the mobile app, from your dashboard).
2. Browse Smartfolios by category — Core, Additive, Capital Defense, Crypto, Custom, and Partner — or use the filters and search bar to narrow things down.
3. Tap a Smartfolio to see its details, including its holdings, category, and minimum investment.
4. Tap Invest to enter an amount. (If you instead see View this SmartFolio, tap that to open its full performance page, then invest from there.)
5. Enter the dollar amount you want to invest, then tap Review Investment. The minimum initial investment in a Smartfolio is $500; there's no minimum for additional investments after that.
6. Confirm the details and tap Submit Investment.

Note: If you invest while the market is open, we submit your buy orders right away. If you invest outside market hours (after the close, before the open, or on a weekend/holiday), your investment is queued and submitted at the next trading day's market open (9:30am ET).
