If you own a stock that pays a dividend, it will generally be paid out quarterly (some pay semi-annually). The cash dividend will get deposited into your brokerage account within 2-3 business days after the official payment date. To confirm if a dividend payment has arrived in your account, simply log into your iFlip app, go the main menu and select 'History'.
All dividend payments show up in the History section as 'Velox' (our clearing broker), followed by the date the dividend was paid and the amount (see screen shot below as an example). If you tap on the dividend line item it will display which specific stock the dividend was paid from.
Note: At this time we do not have an automatic dividend re-investment option. However, this is a feature that is near the top of our list and plan to implement soon. Stay tuned!
